The Voice of the Philippines is a Filipino reality television singing competition on ABS-CBN. It is based on the reality singing competition "The Voice of Holland" which was originally created by Dutch television producer John de Mol as part of the Voice franchise.
In the Voice Philippines, former professional singers and celebrities also auditioned for the show.
1. Radha Cuadrado
*She is an original member of KULAY, the international Hip Hop group. She auditioned in the first season of the Voice Philippines and became a part of Lea Salonga's team. She eventually made it up to the semi finals.
2. Thor Dulay
*He started out as a background singer to Luke Mejares and Jay-r, and he established a carer in the local music scene after releasing his debut album in 2004. Dulay made history as the first four chair turner in the voice phillippines and choose to be a part of team APL.DE.AP
3. Guji Lorenzana
*He was a talent of abs-cbn star magic batch. He auditioned with his sister in the voice as a duo act and became a part of team APL.DE.AP. Unfortunately they lost to trithan perfecto, in the battle rounds
4. Jason Fernandez
*He is the vocalist for the third line up of Rivermaya,iconic filipino band originally lead by non other than the voice philippines coach Bamboo Manalac, replacing Rico Blanco in 2007.
Only APL.DE.AP turned for Jason but he eventually lost to Bradley Homes in the battle rounds. Jason was able to continue in the competition under Sarah Geronimo's team with the judges"STEAL"
5. Amy Nobleza
*She placed 1st runner up in pinoy dream academy little dreamers in 2008. She auditioned for the first season of the voice kids but failed to turn the chairs of the judges.
6. Maki Ricafort
*He was a former guitarist and vocalist of pinoy R&B band south border. He auditioned for the first season of the voice and choose to be coached by Sarah Geronimo. Maki made it up to the third live shows but eventually lost to Morissette Amon.
7. Aia De Leon
*She was the former vocalist of pinoy rock band IMAGO. She left the band in 2013 and auditioned for the first season of the voice, ditching her rock band PERSONA for an adult pop genre. However, Aia failed to convince the judges to turn for her.
8. Nicole
*She is a part of the hit kids gag show "ANG TV". Nicole auditioned for the show but failed to convince the coaches to turn their chairs
9. Arnee Hidalgo
*She is the sister of former Smokey Mountain singer Jeffrey Hidalgo. She had a succesful audition and became a part of team APL.DE.AP hoping for a second chance in fame
10. Karla Estrada
*She's the mother of Daniel Padilla. She tried out in the second season of the voice philippines however she did not get a turn from any of the coaches . Today she is a judge in the noon time singing competition Tawag ng Tanghalan sa Showtime.
