Mara Hautea Schnittka, known professionally as Julia Montes is a Kapamilya actress of German descent. She is the lead actress of ABS-CBN's Doble Kara.
Julia is the breadwinner of her family. One of her goals when she started working at the age of six was to buy a house. In 2015, she owns a property with three bedrooms, a gym and a walk-in closet. The house was located in the same village where Coco Martin lives.
But this wasn't her first property. in 2012, she put her money on a 200-square-meter house in Antipolo City. In an interview, Julia does not want to let go of this house even if she prefers to live in Quezon City.
According to Julia: "Gusto kong ipa-rent, ayaw kong ibenta kasi first investment ko."
YES! magazine had the chance to tour Julia's Antipolo home.
Her grandmother said the house was already furnished when they bought it.
She told YES!, "Lahat ng furniture sa baba, hindi kami ang bumili."
Julia's place had a "homey, cozy, and minimalist vibe."
One of the corners in her room was painted red.
Julia said: "Dream ko lang magkaroon ng red wall."
"Naa-attract ako sa red, kasi usong-uso sa akin 'yong nagbabasa ako ng mga book, and then nabasa ko 'yong meaning.
"Iyong red, parang nagsi-symbolize ng parang strong ka."

This veranda was Julia's favorite spot.
According to the Doble Kara actress: "Relaxing siya for me 'tsaka may iba siyang feeling, e.
"Dahil open air, nakikita mo 'yong view, nakikita mo 'yong sky.
"Feeling ko, doon ako nagkakaroon ng panibagong dreams."
